About Me

“Know all the theories, master all the techniques, but as you touch a human soul be just another human soul”
— Carl Jung

Welcome — I'm so glad you're here.

If you’ve landed on this page, chances are you’re a clinician, healer, or helper who’s navigating the complexities of holding space for others. Maybe you're encountering clients whose trauma feels out of reach with traditional methods. Maybe you’re longing for consultation that’s not just technically sound, but deeply attuned — where you feel seen, supported, and resourced in your work.

I offer consultation rooted in presence, precision, and the emerging science of trauma healing. My work is informed by over a decade of immersion in somatic and neurobiological approaches — especially Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), a modality that continues to inspire awe for its capacity to reach the core of traumatic wounding. I also bring deep experience with EMDR, attachment-based therapies, and clinical intuition honed through years of therapeutic practice.

Whether you're integrating DBR into your work, deepening your understanding of trauma, or seeking a reflective space to explore your own stuck points as a practitioner — I’d be honored to join you.

This work is sacred. And it’s brave. Thank you for doing it.

And if you're someone looking for trauma-focused therapy, I do occasionally have openings for individual clients. Please feel free to reach out — I’d be happy to explore whether we’re a good fit.

Oh — and the handsome guy in many of my photos? That’s Strider, my standard poodle and faithful co-regulator. While he's retired from client duties, he still makes sure I’m well-supported. His little brother, coming soon, may be ready to step into the role of therapy dog in the future.

My Story

I graduated with my Master of Social Work degree in 2017, embarking on a second career after 20+ years in information technology. My initial path through school culminated in a MA in cognitive psychology, so the brain has always had a special place in my heart. Little did I know that I would be working with the brain in a healing profession many years later. Even more surprising is my own shift from a focus on the logical brain to working with more primitive, unconscious parts of Self. And, incidentally, a shift towards my clients’ hearts and my own. Collaborating in the healing process and being present as my clients shift into new ways of being present in the world is the most fulfilling aspect of my therapeutic work.

My Mission

It becomes more apparent to me over time that a large part of my mission is to assist clinicians in developing their own learning and expertise. Some ways I carry out this mission:

  • Consulting in my areas of expertise (primarily Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR).  I also offer consultation for EMDR, Highly dissociative clients, Developmental trauma, using the DES & MID for screening and assessment.

  • Education (currently developing trainings on topics such as DBR Brain Mapping).

  • Informal support and networking. As a new clinician, it’s easy to get lost in the weeds of licensure, continuing education, specialization and focus, and even trying to put your own private practice together.

Let me know how I can support you!
